Daniel Hamermesh

Hamermesh, Distinguished Scholar Barnard College and Network Director IZA, Fellow of the Econometric Society and Past President of SOLE, has published over 100 refereed papers in scholarly journals, concentrating on time use, labor demand, discrimination, academic labor markets and unusual applications (beauty, sleep and suicide). His Labor Demand, was published in 1993, Beauty Pays in 2011, and Spending Time in 2019.
