Arda Gitmez

I received my PhD in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019. For 2019-2020, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Harris School of Public Policy. In Fall 2020, I will start as an Assistant Professor in Bilkent University, Department of Economics. My research interests are political economy, market design, and organizational economics.

Linda Glawe

University of Hagen

Linda Glawe is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hagen (Department of Macroeconomics). She holds a M.Sc. in Economics (with honors) and doctoral degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Hagen and is a member of the Center for East Asia Macroeconomic Studies. Her research interests include economic growth and development, the middle-income trap, institutions, the European integration process, structural change, and East Asian economics. Her work has been published in Comparative Economic Studies, China Economic Review, Asian Economic Papers, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, and the Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies.

Sarah Godar

Charles University Prague / Berlin School of Economics and Law

Sarah Godar is research associate at the Department of Business and Economics at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), supported by the Berlin Equal Opportunity Program (BCP). She is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University Prague. Her Ph.D. topic is corporate tax and tax avoidance by multinational corporations. Previous activities include the coordination of the tax justice network Germany (“Netzwerk Steuergerechtigkeit”), and employment as a research associate for the Master's Programme Tax Policy and Tax Administration at BSEL. She studied Economics and Sociology at the University of Potsdam and graduated in International Economics (M.A.) at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Her research interests include tax policy, tax avoidance and income distribution.

Florence Goffette-Nagot

GATE CNRS

Florence Goffette-Nagot is Research Professor at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). She is affiliated with the GATE (Groupe d’Analyse et de Théorie Economique), at the University of Lyon, France. Her research interests are in housing economics and urban economics, with applications on French urban policies (urban renewal and enterprise zones), rent control policies, prices in housing markets and urban inequalities related to local labor markets.

Jerome Gonnot

I am a PhD candidate at the Toulouse School of Economics. My research interests are migration economics, public economics and political economy. Beginning in September 2020, I will join the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute in Florence as a Research Associate.

Jorgo T.G. Goossens

I am Jorgo Goossens, second year Ph.D. Candidate at the department of Econometrics & Operations Research at Tilburg Univeristy and researcher at APG Asset Management. My expected graduation date is 2022. My research areas cover behavioral finance, asset pricing, macro and experimental finance. I was awarded an NWO Industrial Doctorate Grant for my Ph.D. research, jointly with my supervisors Bas Werker, Marike Knoef, Eduard Ponds and Rob van den Goorbergh.

Sampreet Goraya

I am a PhD student at the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. My primary areas of research are Macroeconomics and Development Economics with a particular focus on Firm Dynamics. My current research ranges from answering macro-development questions using structural approach to thinking about new ways of estimating the changing nature of technology and its implications.

I'm a PhD student at PSE & INED under the supervision of Thomas Piketty. I work on migration and inequality related topics. I will be on the Job Market in 2020/21 and my JM paper looks at the causal effect of obtaining the nationality of the host country on the integration of foreigners in the labour market. I am also interested in the labour market situation of second-generation foreigners.

Gavin Goy

De Nederlandsche Bank

Gavin Goy is a research economist in the Monetary Policy Division at De Nederlandsche Bank. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Amsterdam, prior to which was doing the MPhil program at the Tinbergen Institute. During his PhD, Gavin was a PhD intern at De Nederlandsche Bank and the European Central Bank.
